Description

The contracting authority would like tenders for a survey that will provide knowledge on developments in the grades and the extent of the teaching offer in Norwegian higher education. Regarding character development, the contracting authority would like knowledge on: • Developments in character level and the connection between grades and other relevant variables, such as institutions, subject area/study programme, exam form, the extent of teaching, the students' age and admission levels/previous grades. • Variation in censorship practice between institutions and professional environments, as well as the connections between censorship schemes and characterisation. It will also be interesting if the sensors' own attitudes and assessments connected to censorship practice can be highlighted throughout the assignment. As regards the extent of the offer, the following is to be highlighted: • How the subject of education (both compulsory and non-obligatory) and the requirements set for the students (e.g. in the form of work requirements), and any type of teaching, vary between studies, disciplines and institutions, as well as possible reasons for this. The contracting authority would like knowledge on developments in teaching over time and asks tenderers to assess to what degree and in what way this can be covered. • Education as seen in light of developments in the number of professional employees, intake levels and grades. • Development in resource use of teaching over time (e.g. measured in dollars invested per credit). The final delivery deadline for the assignment is 31.12.2025, with a partial delivery by 15.05.2025. The lot shall highlight the development in character level and possible reasons for this (c.f. the first bullet point). The assignment has a financial limit of up to NOK 1.5 million excluding VAT.
