Market consultation Coordinated Capacity Calculation Tool
The Coordinated Capacity Calculation Tool (CCCt), consisting of the Core and CE Communication (out of scope here) and the Core and CE Computation Module are instrumental to ensure capacity calculation within the Core and CE CCR. These systems will calculate the available cross-zonal capacities (CZCs) in the Core and CE CCR, and will deliver this to the corresponding allocation process (e.g., to SDAC for DA, SIDC for ID and to SAP from JAO for LT) as defined by the corresponding capacity calculation methodologies. The calculation and the delivery are respectively done by the Computation Module and the Communication Module. The Core and CE CCR are investigating the possibilities for a Computation Module for the Capacity Calculation Tool for the Core and CE CCR. The Computation Module is expected to calculate flow-based parameters Power Transfer Distribution Factors (PTDF) and the Remaining Available Margins (RAM) by using a mathematical engine and power system analysis.
