In connection with the development of the former Schmidtbräu site, the large district town of Schwandorf awards the services of demolition planning (construction site clearance and demolition statics), performance levels 1-4. A public centre for education, leisure and culture in the city centre will be built on the site of the former ‘Schmidt Bräu’ brewery. Together with the buildings Marktplatz 3 and 4 (formerly Gasthaus zur Post and Raiffeisenbank), an area of approximately 6,700 m2 is being built centrally on the market square of the city of Schwandorf. New rooms for the adult education centre, the music school and the tourist information office are to be built here. In the rear area to Berggasse, a civic hall with about 360 seats is planned.
