Description

As part of its mission, the Branding Unit, better known to the general public under the ‘LuXembourg - Let’s Make It Happen’ initiative of the Ministry of the Economy (‘MECO’), is developing a collection of promotional products (known as the ‘LuXembourg Collection’ or ‘Collection’) with the objectives of: • Showcasing Luxembourg’s local know-how, diversity and creativity internationally • Promoting and appreciating Luxembourg’s values and faces • Bringing the ‘Luxembourg’ brand to life and travelling around the world It is in this context that MECO partners with local producers to develop new items for the Collection in a sustainable, local and contextualised approach (through storytelling around the product). It should be noted that the LuXembourg Collection fulfils the following functions: • Official representation gifts as used by embassies, LTIOs, ministries, etc.; • Conventional gifts to be offered to an international audience; • Souvenirs or gifts bought by tourists and international visitors; • Identification products worn by the local general public; • Promotional material aimed at an international audience in the context of the organisation of large-scale international events, for example. The subject of the contract is the conclusion of a service contract for the management, coordination and marketing of the LuXembourg Collection. In order to continue to develop items of the LuXembourg brand, MECO uses an external partner to centralise the entire management of the LuXembourg Collection into a single point of contact. The aim of the collaboration is to use a single central point of contact to coordinate, develop and control the entire product range. The s´ partner will also purchase, store, sell and transport the items in the collection to national and international B2B channels. These services may, if necessary, be extended to the B2C network. The objective of the contract is to ensure a high-quality service as defined in these specifications. The contract will be concluded for a period of three years, starting on 1 January 2027. An in-depth knowledge of the market of Luxembourg producers is essential for tendering.
