Description

This invitation to tender invites tenders for the use of HUS Diagnostic Center and ISLAB Wellbeing Consortium for rapid (< 1h) and easy-to-implement diagnostics of malaria parasites, testing reagents and consumables, as well as control reagents and consumables. The test is carried out directly on a blood sample by the nucleic acid detection method. The test must be suitable for a low incidence country and it must be possible to perform individual tests with the test. The equipment will be purchased for the Customer's use by renting. Tentatively five (5) units will be rented. The devices will be located at the HUS Diagnostic Centre's offices in Helsinki (2 units) and Lappeenranta (1 unit), as well as at the ISLAB Wellbeing Consortium's (hereinafter "ISLAB") offices in Kuopio (1 unit) and Mikkeli (1 unit). The tendering will be carried out as a joint procurement between HUS and ISLAB. Each contracting entity shall conclude its own contract with the supplier to be selected. The parties involved are hereinafter referred to as the Subscriber. In addition, an option will be reserved to purchase one (1) rental device for HUS's operating area during 2025-26 and one (1) rental device for ISLAB's operating area during 2025-26. Estimated number of studies: ISLAB: 50 – 100 per year HUS: Approximately 800 per year. Test and control reagents and consumables purchased and ordered can mainly be well prepared for use. Urgent deliveries are rare and occur less frequently than once a year. The contract period is fixed at two (2) years for both equipment and test and control reagents and supplies. After a fixed term, the contracting entity may extend it for an option period of 1+1 years. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
