Description

Decree No 87-1036 of 24 December 1987 provides for checks on the accounting and financial management of the OPAC. Article R421-41 of the Construction and Housing Code provides that ‘One or more auditors shall be chosen by the Board of Directors from the list referred to in Article 219 of Law No 66-537 of 24 July 1966 on commercial companies’, stating that ‘their duties shall be carried out under the conditions laid down by that law, subject to rules specific to the public establishment’.
Since 1989, the Board of Directors has decided to opt for the accounting of commercial enterprises and the appointment of two statutory auditors and, as provided for by law, 2 alternates.
Each auditor shall carry out the entire assignment and certify for all accounts. There is therefore no co-Commissioner.
the mission of the auditors currently in place ends with the certification of the accounts for the financial year 2011. It is therefore necessary to renew them from the financial year 2012 onwards.
In accordance with the rules, the task of auditors covers 6 financial years, i.e. 2012 to 2017 inclusive.
