Description

Päijät-Häme wellbeing services county has tendered out Home Care Medical Services (HA/1377/2024) for the contract period 1.1.2025-31.12.2029. This is a service falling within the statutory organisational responsibility of the contracting entity, the purpose of which is to provide medical services to home care service voucher customers and, if necessary, to other home care service customers. The procurement was carried out using an open procurement procedure and it was a health and social services procurement that exceeded the national thresholds. The contracting partner was selected by decision of the Director of Welfare Districts 10.6.2024/45§. The service contract has been terminated on. 30.4.2025. A new tendering process for the procurement will be launched during spring 2025. For the tendering period, estimated from 1 May to 31 December 2025, the service will be purchased as a direct procurement. The services to be procured are health and social services in accordance with Annex E to the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts (1397/2016, Act on Public Contracts). The procurement procedure is carried out as a direct procurement in accordance with section 40 of the Act on Public Contracts (1397/2016), in which the contracting entity negotiates the terms of the procurement agreement with the supplier of its choice without prior publication of a contract notice. The basis for direct award is section 40(4)(4) of the Act on Public Contracts, according to which the conclusion of a contract is strictly necessary and the prescribed time limits cannot be complied with due to extreme urgency caused by unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of the contracting entity. (Termination of the contract earlier than anticipated.) The service will be acquired from the previous contract partner who provided home care medical services. This ensures the smooth continuity of home care doctor services during the competitive tendering process. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
