Description

This notice is not a contract notice or a call for tenders, but a request for information by which the Welfare Region of Western Uusimaa initiates a market dialogue and surveys suppliers' interest in purchasing compressed air breathing equipment. The Länsi-Uusimaa wellbeing services county will procure compressed air breathing equipment and spare parts for smoke and water diving to the Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department, as well as maintenance of equipment and a maintenance software solution for compressed air breathing equipment or a maintenance programme solution that is compatible with the purchased compressed air breathing equipment. As a rule, the Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department carries out the fault repairs and annual maintenance of the equipment itself. However, the Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department may, if it so wishes, procure the maintenance of compressed air breathing equipment from a supplier. Suppliers interested in the procurement are asked to answer questions about the procurement of the Western Uusimaa Welfare Area and to comment on the description of the procurement object and the reference requirements. After returning the answers, the Welfare Region of Western Uusimaa invites suppliers to market dialogues to discuss procurement and present their products. Market dialogue discussions and product presentations will take place on 10 October 2025 at approximately 8 a.m.-11 a.m. at Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department's central fire station (Palomiehentie 1, 02750 Espoo). The duration of the presentation is tentatively planned to be one hour per journalist. The Welfare Region of Western Uusimaa reserves the right to invite any number of journalists it deems necessary to the presentation. Expression of interest in a request for information shall not bind suppliers to participate in a call for tenders, nor shall it be a condition for participation in a call for tenders.
