Description

The contracting authority - Craiova intends to conclude a framework agreement for a period of 4 years to purchase playground equipment, fitness machines, drawbar systems and shading systems (veils): Lot I: Playground equipment, Lot II: Fitness equipment, Lot III: Drawbars, Lot IV: Shading systems, as required by Specification No 248372 of 15 July 2026. The objective ‘Purchase of playground equipment, fitness equipment, drawbar systems and shading systems (vells) – framework agreement’ aims to increase the level of education and socialisation, but also the health status of all young people, by practicing physical exercise and outdoor sport; reinvigorating sporting activities, developing sporting activities in conjunction with urban development programmes, increasing youth participation in the urban space in sporting and leisure activities. It was identified the need to replace the damaged playground equipment, but also those that no longer correspond from a technical and qualitative point of view, nor from the point of view of integration into the contemporary urban landscape. It is necessary to replace old playground elements with technically and qualitatively appropriate equipment, but also to supplement them with new ones in areas where they are insufficient, as well as to cover the surfaces with sails where the area allows, in order to meet the agreement needs of the target group for which they are intended, namely children and adolescents. By making this purchase, the contracting authority wants to solve the numerous requests coming from citizens. The playground is necessary for creating an environment conducive to stimulating imagination, sociability, physical development and motor coordination skills. It must integrate harmoniously into the urban landscape, be a place of relaxation and for adults accompanying children. The minimum requirements for the products requested are set out in product specification No 248372 of 15 July 2026. The estimated minimum and maximum quantities for the duration of the Framework Agreement and for each subsequent contract, by lot, are set out in Annex 1 (Lot I) , Annex 2 (Lot II), Annex 3 (Lot III) and Annex 4 (Lot IV) to Tender Specifications No 248372 of 15 July 2026. These quantities are estimates of the quantities that may be required for the entire duration of the framework agreement and may be smaller, equal or higher than those estimated, depending on the needs of the contracting authority. The amendment of the Framework Agreement/public procurement contract, during its period of validity, shall be made under the conditions laid down in Article 221 of Law No 98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented. The amendment of the Framework Agreement/public procurement contract during its period of validity, other than in the cases and conditions provided for in Article 221 of Law No 98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented, shall be carried out by organising a new award procedure, in accordance with the provisions of the law.
