Description

The contract concerns the provision of services relating to the deployment, management & maintenance and the relocation of at least 50 Handheld Detection Systems (HDSs), with an option to expand this number by 50 units to a maximum of 100 units in total. The Public Prosecution Service sees an HDS as a system consisting of an enforcement unit and a so-called base unit, being a movable mechanical construction with mast to which the enforcement unit can be attached, an autonomous power supply and optionally a surveillance camera. The enforcement unit consists of the entirety of one or a few cameras, a flash and other components such as a GPS antenna, a radar and/or lidar that the Contractor needs to detect and register the (possible) violations. How the HDS of the Tenderer is structured is up to the Tenderer himself, in any case with the HDS execution and interpretation must be able to be given to the scope of the assignment. The purpose of the invitation to tender is to conclude a Contract for the provision of the services described and specified in the selection guide with two Tenderers who have submitted the most economically advantageous Tender (EMVI) for the Contract.
