Description

At the former site ‘Campus Seidensticker’ at Herforder Str. 182 in Bielefeld, a growing 4-course inclusive high school, a growing 3-course secondary school and a sports hall are to be built. For this purpose, the existing building of the textile company ‘Seidensticker’, which was mainly used as an administrative building in the past, will be extensively renovated and rebuilt. In order to be able to teach the students from the summer of 2026 during the planning and construction phase and until the completion of the structural fitting-out of the existing building on the Seidensticker school campus, the creation of an interim school (substitute school) is necessary. The BBVG therefore intends to have a two-storey steel container facility built in the former parking lot of the textile company Seidensticker, to rent it as a school location for the duration until the existing building has been completely refurbished and subsequently to have it dismantled.
