Description

The CAMPFIRE alliance is developing technologies for a future ammonia-based energy system. Within the framework of the CAMPFIRE implementation project in the BMBF flagship project TransHyDE, the last-flexible and energy-efficient ammonia synthesis will be implemented by means of a novel reactor concept. The 15kW system to be developed, which can also be operated at a low power level, is intended to offer the opportunity to test these novel reactors in a safe and metrologically monitored experimental environment in order to evaluate and optimize the efficiency and stability of the synthesis process. The object of the acquisition is the concept creation, the basic and detailed design, the plant construction, the installation and the commissioning of the plant in the CAMPFIRE Open Innovation Lab on the site of YARA GmbH & CO KG in Poppendorf near Rostock.
