Operation of Public Transport on land in the Provincial part of Iceland 2026-2027

The Icelandic road and costal Administration (IRCA) requests bids for the service tender project "25-029 Operation of Public Transport on land in the Provincial part of Iceland 2026-2027" The service project tender is divided into the following 4 parts: Work part 1: Public transport in the West and the Northern part of Iceland Work part 2: Public transport in the North and the North Eastern part of Iceland Work part 3: Public transport in the Southern part of Iceland Work part 4: Public transport in Suðurnes part of Iceland Bids may be made for individual work parts or four work parts. Individual work parts will not be split up. It is not permitted to make a bid for a different arrangement of the service work than that are described in the tender documents with alternative bid. The service work must be carried out in accordance with the tender documents and project description "25-029 Public transport on land in the provincial part of Iceland 2026-2027" The service project includes, among other things, the provision of defined operating vehicles and their financing together with maintenance and operation. Bids are requested from parties that can meet the requirements of Act no. 28/2017 on passenger and cargo transport. The contract period is 2 years with the possibility of extension up to 2 times, 1 year at a time.
