This tendering process is designed to award a contract for the procurement of rails and check rails for 2 years plus 2 options each for 1 further year.
Bidders may submit tenders for individual or for several batches. Submitting an overall tender is not permitted under Art. 22 of the Public Procurement Ordinance (SR 172.056.11, VöB).
Batches 1 to 13 will not be subject to percentage-based division. SBB reserves the right to order a minimum quantity of < 500 t per grade for sampling rails and check rails for test and audit purposes.
