HTWG Konstanz, Seerheinwassernutzung, (Engineering structures in the field of hydraulic engineering) At the Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung (HTWG) in Konstanz, the heat supply with a capacity of 2.6 MW is to be converted to renewable energies, including the use of Seerheinwasser. A feasibility study is available for this purpose. The results of the feasibility study are to be verified in the field of hydraulic engineering as a first step and further developed into a planning ready for approval. These include the planning of the extraction structure such as a jetty with boat dock, pipelines between the heating centre and extraction, sediment filtration and pumping system as well as the return of the Seerhein water including the return of the filtration material to the Seerhein. Required expert reports such as flow simulations, expert reports on the protected property soil, flora and fauna, etc. must be accompanied. After securing the approval of the hydraulic engineering, further specialist planners are involved and the measure is implemented. The pro rata construction costs of the KG 500 (gross) amount to: 750.000 € (630.000 € net)
