Description

The contracting authority wishes to gather all purchases of BMS, including selected service work for Aarhus University, under Agreements with 3 (three) BMS suppliers. The Ordering Party also reserves the right to purchase on the Agreement when the Ordering Party delivers client supplies. The term BMS includes a main central (service interface) with underlying installations for CTS (sub-centrals in technical rooms) and IBI installations (room control of climate, light sun curtains, etc.). ------------------------------------------ The purpose of this invitation to tender is to consolidate all purchases of BMS into a number of Agreements, for use in the purchase of BMS, so that this can be done relatively quickly and efficiently and at competitive prices. There are currently approximately five different systems from six different BMS suppliers at Aarhus University. With the Agreement, the Contracting Authority's hope is to be able to limit the number of BMS brands at Aarhus University, and to aim to have only one BMS brand in one building or in connected buildings. In addition, the Contracting Authority wishes that the future Agreement with standardised project material, plant and function descriptions can help to support a better and more efficient project execution of BMS projects, as the Agreement will result in a higher degree of uniformity in the construction of the BSM plants at Aarhus University. A unification in the construction of the BMS facilities at the University will also benefit the operating staff at Aarhus University, which is why it is the Contracting Authority's expectation that such a unification will result in the possibility of a faster and more efficient daily handling of BMS at Aarhus University. Furthermore, it is the contracting authority's expectation that a fewer number of BMS suppliers at Aarhus University will be able to lead to closer cooperation with the future contract holders, which the contracting authority deems appropriate. Furthermore, the purpose of the future Agreement is to ensure the possibility of purchasing BMS and related components of a high quality with good functionality, a high degree of flexibility and which can ensure a good overview and optimal operation of the technical plants. In addition, the future Agreement will support the uniformity and standardisation desired by the Contracting Authority in the construction of future BMS facilities, as well as contribute to achieving low energy consumption and a good indoor climate. Finally, the future Agreement will ensure the possibility of purchasing BMS plants that are future-proof. The future Agreement will thus support the purchase of system and components with a long service life, as well as the possibility of being able to expand the plants on an ongoing basis. ---------------------------------------------------------- Number of Suppliers on the Agreement The Agreement is concluded with 3 BMS Suppliers. ---------------------------------------------------------- The Agreement may be used by the Customer, who has the right but not the obligation to use the Agreement.
