Svanemøllen's cloudburst project - SST55_RIA - Early construction site work
This contract includes a number of preparatory works to create the basis for a subsequent major contract. The project is located in Ryparken, where the area will serve as a shaft workplace for the contractor taking over the subsequent phase. The main activity in this contract is the conversion of two existing gravity pipes, Ø1600 and Ø2000 concrete pipes, over a distance of approximately 80 metres. The work involves excavation and disposal of the two existing pipes on a stretch of approximately 60 meters. The pipes are located at a depth of up to 5.5 meters, which can lead to potential challenges, such as groundwater flow during open excavation. The task also includes the stiffening of excavations as well as a permanent mounting wall, which is handed over to the next contractor. In addition, the contract includes a number of other necessary activities to ensure a functional and safe workplace for the subsequent contractor. This includes the establishment of noise fences to minimize noise nuisance, the construction of access roads and gates, as well as terrain regulation. Gravel pads (SG) will also be laid out to create a stable foundation for heavy machinery and equipment. In addition, supply lines will be set up to be used for later purposes. The contractor shall carry out the design as described in SAB02, SAB03 and SAB05.
