Description

Svenska Spel carries out a number of market surveys of different nature each year. We promote both the mother brand and some 20 gambling products from a wide variety of designs, target groups and distribution channels. In addition, Svenska Spel’s mandate contains high standards of social responsibility. Surveys and analyses of markets, customers and attitudes are therefore of great importance for the decision-making of Svenska Spel.
Within the Strategic Staff, the head of which is part of the group management, there is a section made up of 8 employees who are responsible for meeting Svenska Spel’s need for decision support for market activities, etc. in both the short and the long term.
The 2 most regular strategic projects implemented by Svenska Spel are the annual Spel mapping (postal mailing to 10 000 respondents) and monthly Imagetracks (web panel), which are reported on a quarterly basis.
Svenska Spel intends to procure a (1) framework contract for strategic consultant for market research and analytical support.
Horizontal (but not exclusively) areas of need are:
— responsibility for major strategic projects and information needs and act as a strategic and qualified ‘sounding board’;
— game mapping – advice, project management, field collection, mailing, compilation, reporting and development of the annual Spel survey, note, however, that the Spel mapping does not apply in the year of one of the agreements when it has already begun. The game mapping therefore applies from 2 to the contract.
— imagetracking – advice, analysis, compilation, field collection, quarterly reporting and development of imagetracking;
— possibly other studies, surveys and decision-making documents of a more temporary nature.
