Description

The Municipality has a sourcing policy with regard to IT which states that the development and maintenance of IT infrastructure is not a core task of the Municipality. Due to the increased complexity of IT and its highly dynamic nature, specialised commercial companies can carry out this task more effectively and efficiently in certain cases, also in connection with economies of scale and scope. As a result, the HenT department will be specified functionally as much as possible both in the procurement process and during the design, implementation and operation phase. The HenT Service Provider is responsible for the design, implementation, management and innovation of the hosting platform as part of the HenT Service. The Supplier will also perform technical application management or have technical application management facilitated by others for some of the applications. The Supplier will also have to cooperate with the various internal departments of the Municipality (MSI, Functional Management, Software Development) and adapt its service processes accordingly.
