Description

Subject of the invitation to tender: TenneT TSO GmbH operates critical infrastructure in Germany as a transmission system operator. Maintaining the communication capability of the operational units is crucial in particular during large-scale disruptions of the public telecommunications infrastructure, prolonged power outages and other crisis situations. TenneT already uses satellite-based communication solutions to ensure fail-safe and network-independent communication. The satellite networks BGAN (Broadband Global Area Network) and Iridium are used redundantly. The aim of this call for tenders is to select a high-performance service provider that will provide all the necessary supplies and services for the operation, expansion and support of these satellite communication solutions from a single source. The tender includes the supply of terminal equipment, SIM cards, contracts, accessories as well as technical support and services for the satellite networks BGAN and IRIDIUM. Prerequisite: Non-disclosure agreement / NDA In order to protect the confidentiality of the contracting authority's information in the procurement documents, a non-disclosure agreement is to be concluded. To do this, use the document "Confidentiality Agreement (NDA)" provided for download and send the copy signed by you via e-mail to carsten.schillig@tennet.eu. Tenderers are allowed to send signed non-disclosure agreements to the contracting authority at any time during the application process. The contracting authority will grant the tenderer access to the tender documents after a plausibility check has been carried out. From this, the tenderer cannot yet infer that the contracting authority certifies the suitability of the tenderer for further participation in the tendering procedure. In this respect, the contracting authority will send separate invitations to tender to the tenderers admitted to the tendering procedure after the deadline for the submission of requests to participate. ATTENTION: This is a multi-stage procedure. Only after selection of the candidates according to the predefined selection criteria will the invitation to tender be sent to the suitable participants! In the 1st Therefore, no tender documents have to be submitted! The application for participation must be received in good time and no later than 08.09.2026 at 12:00 CET via the e-procurement platform Mercell (application deadline). Individual deadline extensions are not granted. Submission of the request to participate by post, e-mail or fax is inadmissible. Failure to comply with this requirement may lead to the exclusion of the request to participate.
