Description

In order to provide the best quality ambulance care to the inhabitants of our region, the VRR must (among other things) have good vehicles. The purpose of this invitation to tender is to acquire these vehicles in a responsible and lawful manner. VRR intends to conclude two framework agreements for this contract. I Framework contract for delivery (design, construction and (delivery) of the vehicles on the basis of purchase) The duration of the supply framework contract is 6 years, starting from 1 July 2024. The delivery agreement is terminated by operation of law at the end of this period, unless the VRR notifies the Supplier in writing that it wishes to make use of the extension no later than three months before the end of the (possibly extended) term of the agreement. After the initial term, a maximum of two (2) times can be extended by the VRR for a period of two (2) years, under the same conditions. This term has been chosen because the VRR intends to enter into a long-term and sustainable cooperation with the Supplier. Such cooperation means that the parties have to respond to each other and jointly incorporate the VRR's vision on ambulance transport in a vehicle. In addition, the VRR will replace the vehicles in several batches, the entire fleet spread over approximately 6 years. The market investigation conducted in Q4 2023/Q1 2024 showed no objection to this. II Framework Maintenance Agreement The duration of the Maintenance Framework Agreement is equal to the (initial and if applicable extended) duration of the Framework Supply Agreement. Upon delivery of each ambulance, a separate maintenance agreement will be concluded. This individual maintenance agreement has a duration of 6 years or a mileage of 330,000 kilometers, whichever is achieved first, starting from the date of purchase (and acceptance) by the VRR, this date will be determined on the purchase form.
