Expansion of the ITS System to improve urban mobility and promote walking and cycling along with the implementation of a system for measuring occupancy of parking spaces and places dedicated to disabled people in the paid parking zone as part of the project: "Development of sustainable urban transport in Białystok and functional urban area".

The subject of the contract is: expansion of the existing ITS System to improve urban mobility and promote walking and cycling, with the implementation of a system for measuring occupancy of parking spaces and places dedicated to disabled people in the paid parking zone, which includes: 1) adapting the system of priorities for public transport buses to the new SIP protocol, 2) introducing automatic detection of pedestrians, cyclists at intersections, crossings and crossings with signalling along with the introduction of solutions for automatic counting and differentiation of road users and average speed measurements, 3) introducing mobile applications facilitating the movement of cyclists around the city by automatically reporting the need for a green signal, 4) using bicycle totems with information for users on motor and environmental parameters, 5) introducing priorities for priority vehicles by adjusting signalling work algorithms and equipping priority vehicles with the necessary equipment, 6) launching a system for measuring occupancy of parking spaces and places dedicated to disabled people in the paid parking zone, 7) developing design documentation and building light signals at pedestrian crossings outside signalling in the city (5 crossings: 4 on a dual carriageway street, 1 on a single carriageway), 8)development of design documentation and construction of traffic lights at intersections in the city (6 intersections), 9)development of documentation and construction of teletechnical sewerage and fiber optic network aimed at connecting existing and designed devices of the ITS System in order to provide connectivity to server systems. 10)development of documentation, delivery and commissioning of CCTV cameras for traffic monitoring in terms of pedestrian and bicycle traffic safety, 11)modernisation of IT infrastructure, 12)delivery of computer equipment to the Traffic Management Centre and retrofitting with a display and tablet, 13)performance of functional tests and cybersecurity tests of the System before its production start-up, 14)development of as-built (post-implementation) documentation regarding the works performed, 15)providing 5-year IT support to the System .
