Germany-Bielefeld: Architectural services for buildings
The city of Bielefeld intends to build and reorganise the Fourth Realschule Luisenschule. The Luisenschule is already divided into two locations: Site 1 Paulusstrasse and site 2 Josefstraße. In future, the student population of the Luisenschule is to be divided asymmetrically. Class 9+ 10 will be taught at the Paulusstraße site and the 5-8 classes on the Josefstraße school site. The Josefstraße site is to be rebuilt centrally, which will house the room programme for the 5-8 year classes of the Luisenschule and OGS sub-areas of the neighbouring Josef primary school and areas for the use of neighbourhoods. Existing buildings 10, 30+ 40, 50+ 51 must therefore be over-planned and phased out. Building 95 is maintained and needs to be rescheduled. The open-air installations on site 2 are to be redesigned. The Paulusstraße site is to be maintained in its existing structure and the spatial division of the building must be reorganised to adapt to the changes in requirements. The free facilities at site 1 are expressly not part of the competition task. The promoter intends to obtain the ‘Silber’ BNB certification for new school construction at school site 2 (Josefstraße). The aim of the competition is to find a suitable contractor as master planner (architect/interior and landscape architectIn) for further planning services through alternative and optimised approaches that meet the different requirements in the same way.
