IK-EEA 049-2025 Assistance with the development and management of automated work processes
The procurement is for consultancy services and licences for the development and management of automated work processes. The assistance will i.a. include process mapping, development, management support and documentation. The assistance is provided continuously, but the size of the assistance will vary slightly based on the assignment quantity throughout the year. Bergen municipality uses Robotic Process Automation, RPA, for streamlining and increased degree of automation of work processes. Based on RPA technology, the concept "Digital Employee", also called "Digifrid", was established. The development work started in 2016 and the municipality ́s digital employee is now responsible for a number of work processes. There are currently four robots in operation and over 30 processes in production. Disciplines that have started to use automated processes are, among others, health, nurseries and schools, HR, finance and administration. Through digitalisation and automation of work processes, including by using RPA, Bergen municipality would like to achieve both qualitative and quantitative gains. Bergen municipality would like to enter into a contract with a tenderer who can contribute to realise the municipality's ambitions in this area. Blue Prism software is used for development and C TWO for management. Procurement of licences for C TWO and Blue Prism is also a part of this procurement. The tenderer shall procure licences for C TWO and Blue Prism on behalf of Bergen municipality. Bergen municipality is the licence owner.
