Description

Slovak Guarantee and Development Bank a.s. operates and manages the Information System (IS)DS middleware.
The IS in question has been used in SZRB a.s. since 2009 as part of an interbank payment system within the global Swift network. The system also includes other components which are part of DS middleware, such as Sepa Pred/Post Processing delivered in the context of the transition to the Sepa standard, as well as the components providing for mandatory procedural procedures resulting from the Banking Act No 483/2001, as amended. The whole system has to meet the technical/security criteria as defined in the Swift CSP and Swift SIP V3 specification, as it is interconnected within the Swift closed communication system within the Swift infrastructures provided through the Swift Service Bureau. The entire system is of particular importance for the functioning of the bank and is operated in 24x7 mode.
The solution also includes an integrated system that provides for all procedural acts, including the circulation of related documents relating to the bank’s payment systems and Swift infrastructure, within the meaning of Act No 297/2008 on protection against money laundering and protection against terrorist financing and amending certain acts.
The supplier of the IS DS middleware in question and the abovementioned components of Swift is Digital Systems, a.s. Digital Systems, a.s., which holds the exclusive copyright of IS DS middleware and SZRB, a.s., has been granted a licence (time and territorially unlimited and freely transferable licence) with a precisely defined way of exploitation of that work, which excludes interference with the work without the author’s consent and any alteration.The solution also includes the integration into the protected and certified SWIFT DS Service Bureau infrastructure, IS DS middleware is also used by the bank as the central messaging system for the worldwide Swift S.C.R.L network network.
