Description

1. The subject of the contract is the provision of a comprehensive logistics service for the foreign transport of objects lent for the exhibition ‘Young Poland. Polish Art 1890-1918’ in Kyoto, Japan. 2. Mode of transport: road and air transport (details in Chapter II of Annex 2 to the SWZ) of the facilities to The National Museum of Modern Art 26-1, Okazaki Enshoji-cho, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, 606-8344 Japan (hereinafter referred to as MoMAK). 3. Provision of specialised transport boxes for the transport of works of art, together with appropriate packing materials, approved for direct contact with museum facilities, in accordance with the conservation guidelines described in Annex 2a to the SWZ- List of facilities. 4. Packing of objects in the National Museum in Krakow (hereinafter referred to as the NMK) and in lending institutions indicated on the list of objects. 5. The implementation of the contract was divided into two stages: ⁇ STAGE I – road transport of objects from lending institutions to the National Museum in Krakow, customs clearance at the NMK, road transport to the airport of departure, air transport to Japan, road transport from the airport to MoMAK. ⁇ STAGE II – road transport of the facilities from MoMAK to the airport, air transport from Japan, road transport from the airport to the NMK, road transport of the facilities to the lending institutions, closure of customs procedures. 6. The Contractor is obliged to choose an airport in Japan: Kansai International Airport KIX. Departure airport in Europe to be agreed by the Contractor, preferred: Frankfurt n/M FRA. 7. In Japan (in accordance with the MoMAK guidelines), the transport operator is Yamato Transport Co., Ltd. The Contractor will be obliged to use the services of the above-mentioned operator to the minimum extent described in Annex 2 to the SWZ. 8. Full documentation on the performance of the contract can be found in the annexes to the SWZ: 1) Detailed description of the subject of the order. 2) Lists of Objects with places where they are collected – Annexes No 2a, to Annex No 2 SWZ. 9. The contracting authority shall specify in detail, in the documents referred to in paragraph 3 - quality requirements relating to the main elements making up the subject of the contract, i.e. in the scope of all elements making up the transport of museum objects: - General guidelines for transport in the context of conservation requirements; - General guidelines for convoys; - Packing/Loading/Unloading; - Air transport - Road transport; - Guidelines for loading and unloading facilities in individual Lending Institutions; 10.
