Description

The Federal Office for Real Estate Tasks, represented by the State Building Office Rosenheim, intends to construct a new building for the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) whose preliminary design concept is the subject of competition. It is to be constructed as a free-standing new building in Neuherberg, Oberschleißheim on a building site of approx.17 000 m². The aim is to achieve an architecturally high-quality, economic, functionally coherent and sustainable approach.
Certification in accordance with the assessment system for sustainable construction for federal buildings in accordance with the criteria for the construction of new research and laboratory buildings (level of compliance with silver) is to be achieved.
The maximum cost for the construction project is approximately EUR 44000000 gross (KG 300-400).
The room programme comprises a total of about 6 400 m², comprising approximately 2 500 m² of office space and approximately 1 700 m² of laboratories. The remaining areas concern storage and other areas, as well as workshops.
