Przedmiotem zamówienia jest dostawa 126 104 szt. ręcznych granatów dymnych RGD - 2DB (dym biały),
oraz 94 960 szt. ręcznych granatów dymnych RGD - 2DCZ (dym czarny) lub wyrobów równoważnych,
wykorzystywanych jako środki pozoracji pola walki oraz w procesie szkolenia żołnierzy. Ręczne granaty dymne
przeznaczone są do stawiania krótkotrwałych zasłon dymnych w celu zamaskowania działania żołnierzy,
a także do oślepiania stanowisk ogniowych przeciwnika oraz wzmacniania i likwidowania luk w zasłonach
dymnych stawianych za pomocą innych środków dymnych.
