Bristol City Council is engaging the market in order to help shape a procurement framework for practitioner and consultants to provide project support to District Heat installation works.
The framework will contain 5 lots:
— Lot 1 is for Ground Penetrating Radar studies in the highway,
— Lot 2 is for Employer led district heat route design,
— Lot 3 is to provide NEC project manager and supervisory support with potential further support at procurement stage for the installation of pipe works in the highway,
— Lot 4 is to provide Client Engineer roles, NEC project manager and supervisory support with potential further support at procurement stage for the installation of substations including the commissioning of substations onto the heat network,
— Lot 5 is to provide Employer led on site testing for the welding operations of pipe works in the highway.
BCC would like interested parties to answer questions in ProContract in order to help us shape the framework and specifications.
