The object of the contract is the supply of trolley bins 1,100lt, 240lt and 120lt, as well as floor garbage bins 110lt, just as they are mentioned and described in the technical specifications of the Technical Study of the Municipality of Acharnes. The Municipality intends to procure mixed waste collection bins, recyclable materials and floor-mounted micro-waste bins. The bins that are at the disposal of the cleaning services of the Municipality are up to twenty years old, as well as very stressed and even completely worn because of their daily use. The good condition and functionality of bins are essential factors that protect workers in the work of collecting waste from musculoskeletal stresses and even ensure public health in general, so it is necessary to replace them immediately. The estimated value of the contract amounts to €1,315,950.00 including 24% VAT (budget excluding VAT: 1.061.250,00€ VAT: €254,700.00). Tenders shall be submitted for the entire procurement.
