The Fraunhofer Institution for Microsystems and Solid State Technologies (EMFT) expands its R & D sector to include a role for laser direct lighters.
The direct laser light is used for the exposure of photoresist. The photoresist is on a metallised flexible film and is intended to be exposed in the roll-to-rol manufacturing process using the LDI (LDI Laser Direct Imaging) system.
