Description

The subject of procurement is the production of IT expert services for application development related to search engine technologies, for the National Police Board, units subordinate to it, and the Finnish Security and Intelligence Service, subordinate to the Ministry of the Interior. The subject of procurement, IT expert services for application development related to search engine technologies, relates to the specification, design, development, implementation, further development, maintenance and quality and information security assurance of the Police IT systems. The services may involve small and large scale projects of a specific volume, and service needs that continue until further notice. The final selection of suppliers will primarily be performed throug mini-tendering within framework arrangement. According to a premilinary and non-binding estimate, the value of the procurement will be EUR 9-17 million. The maximum value of purchases is EUR 17 million. The volume of the procurements on the basis of the framework agreement is influenced, among others, by the funds available to the Client, utilisationof the Client’s own resources and other change factors arising in IT system development during the validity of the framework agreement. No commitment as to the procurement volumes is given in the competitive tendering.
