Description

As a focus fire brigade, the Fallersleben local fire brigade is an indispensable part of the security concept of the city of Wolfsburg. An expert opinion by the fire brigade accident insurance fund (FUK) has shown that extensive structural measures in the existing building as well as an extension are indispensable for the continuation of the current location at Hofekamp 5 in Fallersleben (Wolfsburg). The location of the local fire brigade is part of the former Amtshof Fallersleben within sight of the castle and lies within the scope of the conservation statutes of the city of Wolfsburg for the old town of Fallersleben (domain Fallersleben). The existing building (2-storey former farm building with solid ground floor and half-timbered upper floor, built around 1820) itself is registered as a single monument and is part of a group of buildings (monument ensemble).
