Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn, new building Institute of Molecular Biology (ImBIG)
A replacement building for the Institute of Molecular Biology (ImBIG) is planned on the Poppelsdorf campus of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn. The users distributed today on five buildings and various properties will be merged in the future in the planned new building. The new building of the Institute of Molecular Biology (ImBIG) must integrate into the existing campus master planning and ensure the urban development framework conditions and qualities of these, but at the same time react to the existing situation until they are implemented. In addition to urban planning and architectural quality, the advertiser and user place high demands on the functionality of the new building with laboratories (S1 and S2), evaluation stations in documentation zones and office workstations as well as other functions. The new building must also meet the requirements of cost-effectiveness and sustainability. Through the competition, planning partners are to be found for the realization of the laboratory building with a total of 6,780 sqm (NUF 1-6). The award of the services for general planners includes the property planning building, in accordance with § 34 HOAI 2021 (HZ IV); property planning open-air installations, in accordance with § 39 HOAI 2021 (HZ IV); Structural design in accordance with HOAI § 51 and BNB coordination. The award takes place in the context of the negotiated procedure without participation competition in accordance with §14(4)(8) VgV after the realization competition
