Description

Bespoke printed matter. Ordnance Survey publishes over 600 paper map titles and is seeking interest from potential suppliers to lithographically print, fold and finish its large format (up to 965 mm x 1 270 mm) paper maps with card covers. The products are printed in 4 and 5 colours, with a total annual production of around 1 800 000 units. The supplier will be required to service regular orders for stock replenishment and have completed stock ready for delivery to a single UK address. Print runs range from 500 to 10 000 units per map sheet with around 700 individual map print requests per annum. Ordnance Survey also provides a bespoke print on demand service which will be part of the same contract. This involves the digital print, fold and finish of a large format (1 000 mm x 890 mm) paper map with card covers. Fulfilment of around 30 000 orders per annum will be made directly to the customer.
