Αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι οι εργασίες της μεταφόρτωσης και μεταφοράς των αστικών στερεών αποβλήτων του Δήμου Κατερίνης στον ΧΥΤΑ Μαυροράχης. Επειδή ο Δήμος Κατερίνης δεν διαθέτει τον απαραίτητο υλικοτεχνικό εξοπλισμό και την τεχνογνωσία για την πραγματοποίηση της εν λόγω εργασίας, θα αναθέσει μετά από διεθνή ηλεκτρονικό διαγωνισμό την προαναφερόμενη υπηρεσία σε ανάδοχο που θα διαθέτει το προσωπικό, τα μέσα και την απαραίτητη τεχνογνωσία για την εκτέλεσή της.
Οι εργασίες θα πρέπει να εκτελούνται με τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε να λαμβάνονται όλα τα μέσα προστασίας των εργαζομένων και της δημόσιας υγιεινής και ασφάλειας.
