UK-Sheffield: magnetic resonance imaging equipment
Supply, installation and delivery of a 7-tesla small bore MRI imaging facility, required by the University of Sheffield. The facility should provide high resolution structural and functional MRI imaging capability for samples ranging from 10 g to 750 g. An actively shielded superconducting magnet with a minimum bore size of 300 mm producing a static magnetic field strength of 7 tesla is envisaged. Warranty or service contracts for 6 years should be costed.
The financing for this procurement may be via outright purchase or finance lease. A financial leasing tender will be EU tendered separately.
