Description

In order to achieve the Hamburg climate targets, Hamburger Energienetze GmbH is currently planning a hydrogen industrial network (HH-WIN) for the supply of the largest natural gas industrial customers. HH-WIN is intended to provide the link between industrial customers, local producers, sea imports, pipeline imports and other customers from the transport and mobility sector. The non-discriminatory network infrastructure should enable the hydrogen market to ramp up beyond direct supply contracts. For this purpose, about 40 km of new cables are to be laid in the south of Hamburg until the middle of 2027. The laying of the cables is planned mainly in the area of the road body (road/walkway/side surfaces, etc.). It is an underground line. The production is mainly planned in open construction.
