Description

The Hospital Memmingen is located in Bayer. Hospital supply plan registered as a level II hospital with 500 beds. Around 23000 inpatients and around 35000 outpatients are treated annually. There are also 1500 births at the Memmingen clinic. The number of staff is approximately 1400.
The current spatial situation is insufficient due to the increase in the number of patients, the development of medicine and the associated increased demands through additional facilities and new departments (e.g. neurology, palliative station and geriatry).
The existing buildings (the oldest from the 1950s) have significant structural and operational shortcomings. The hospital institution has identified a deficit of approximately 4 200 m² of useful floor space for current needs. The new Paediatric (child intensive and paediatric dialysis), electrical centre and a control building (1. Construction phase) and new construction of the electrical power station (2. Construction phase, pre-measure) will be completed by the end of the first half of 2015.
The clinic will be restructured, converted and extended in the course of ongoing operations into three-four sections. On the basis of current information, these are:
— 2. Construction phase (preliminary measures):
Outpatient OP, Sectio-OP, left-hand heart cathematics (functional diagnostics – LHKM).
Construction start: approx. from 04-05/2015, readiness to use: approx. 03/2016.
— 2. Section 1:
Interdisciplinary emergency care, reception care, OP areas, operational intensive care, various medical services (e.g. anaesthesia), standby service, resting hospital, endoscopy, technology (ventilation OP and ITS), sectoral measures for technical care – and fire safety rehabilitation. Costs approx. EUR 40500000 incl. frontloaded measures (KG 200-700 gross).
Construction start: approx. from 08/2016, readiness to use: approx. 08/2018.
— 3. Section 1:
Internist intensive care unit(s), OP areas, various medical services (e.g. surgery, urology), technology (structural improvement OP), sectoral measures for technical care – and fire safety rehabilitation.
Costs approx. EUR 19500000 (KG 200-700 gross),
Construction start: approx. from 08/2018, readiness to use: approx. 06/2019.
— 4. Section 1:
2 general care centres, nursing psychiatry, various medical services (e.g. neurology), functional diagnostic sleeping laboratory, sectoral measures for technical care and fire remediation.
Costs approx. EUR 16 700 000 (KG 200-700 gross),
Construction start: approx. from 07/2019, readiness to use: approx. 05/2020.
The subject of the contract is the technical planning of medical installations. The contract is awarded in stages, depending on the funding, or funding and the positive decision of the decision-making bodies of the building.
After submission, examination and decision on the results of the performance phase(s) 1-3 § 53 HOAI, the additional performance phases 4-9 § 53 HOAI will optionally be phased in. There is no right to request further/optional levels.
The duration of the performance of the contract will therefore depend on the structure of the individual sections and the respective authorisation of public funds for hospital financing. It cannot be defined at this stage and can only be implemented once it has been included in the relevant investment programme.
The space programme agreed with the grant providers will form an integral part of the procurement documents. The implementation of the approved space programme should lead to optimisation of usable areas and costs. Planning services must be optimised in terms of efficiency and economy.
