Description

The contract concerns group health care insurance (Lot 1) for active agents of the Province of Namur as well as active agents of other contracting authorities. The contract also covers ambulatory care insurance (lot 2) and dental care insurance (lot 3). This contract is also offered via the provincial purchasing centre for the ordering of services by other contracting authorities (hereinafter referred to as ā€˜beneficiary contracting authoritiesā€™ or ā€˜ABPsā€™). The provisions of the procurement documents shall apply mutatis mutandis to the beneficiary contracting authorities. As regards the Province of Namur specifically, health care insurance also covers staff of the RĆ©gie du ChĆ¢teau de Namur, agents, teaching staff or staff subsidised by the French Community, pensioners, children and spouses or equivalent of the persons listed above. Reference is made to the technical clauses for further details. Beneficiary contracting authorities are free to extend coverage to staff who are not compulsorily affiliated in accordance with the technical clauses.
