Description

In the Regensburg sewage treatment plant, organic flocking agent (polyelectrolyte) is used for mechanical drainage after mesophilic sludge purification. Preliminary tests on various products have shown that cationic floccant with high loads are generally the most effective. Quantity needed: approx. 8-12 g WS/kg TS. The invitation to tender covers the supply of powder-like flakes free of the Regensburg sewage treatment plant. The tendered quantity corresponds roughly to the need for flakes for approximately 15 months. The contract shall end when the tendered quantity of 80 tonnes has been withdrawn. Delivery is to be made in 500 kg or 750 kg Big Bags, in each case by calling on some 10 tonnes by telephone. If the tenderer expects a better outcome with other products that have improved their impact, an alternative offer may be made. However, in order to evaluate this tender, proof of performance in the context of an operational experiment is required.
