Description

Afripac project seeks to strengthen global commitments to end plastic pollution, and improve national action plans and policies. In addition to effective participation in the dialogue for a Global Plastics Treaty, countries also will need to have the capacity to ensure the treaty obligations they sign to can be met nationally. The complexity of the plastics life cycle results in many countries requiring support to build capacity to formulate the requisite tools from a legal, regulatory and technical perspective. The consultant is needed to serve in the capacity of Expert, with responsibilities that will see finalisation of our capacity building work on the negotiation of a new instrument on plastic pollution.
