Description

Procurement of 2x2 cross-polarised MIMO external antennas for rail vehicles. MIMO profits are to be demonstrated on the basis of field measurements on trains run by Deutsche Bahn AG.
The supplier must have expertise in the development of track-capable antennas and, at best, have a prototype of a 2x2 cross-polarised outer antenna, including its performance parameters. The 2x2 cross-polarised outer antenna is further developed in accordance with the technical requirements of Deutsche Bahn AG. To this end, a close exchange with Deutsche Bahn AG is necessary for field measurements on moving trains, Deutsche Bahn AG provides corresponding test trains.
If the specified technical parameters of the 2x2 cross-polarised MIMO external antennas are achieved and the test measurements are successful, it is planned to equip rolling stock with these antennas.
