Microbial and Infectious Surveillance System
Istekki Oy's customer owners have a need for a microbial and infection monitoring system that enables the monitoring, control and tracing of communicable diseases, multi-resistant microbes, healthcare-associated infections and general-hazard and controlled communicable diseases in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). The aim of the procurement was to find a system that can be quickly implemented, completed or almost completed, and that functions in the operational processes, functional and technical environment related to communicable disease work and scales to possible future changes. Implementation should be based on commonly used standards and system-independent interfaces. We offer the system that is the subject of the procurement to our customers in the healthcare sector (see www.istekki.fi). The main customer group is welfare areas. The target of the procurement is a microbial and infection monitoring system, connections to other systems, a delivery project (including migrations, conversions), software maintenance and support, and expert services ordered separately. Further development of the acquired system can be carried out during the contract period. The subject-matter and requirements of the contract were described in detail in the invitation to tender and its annexes. The 'Value of the tender or other result' and 'Value of all contracts awarded under this procedure' indicate the estimated value of the contract. In accordance with the Act on Public Contracts, all possible expense items and the potential for Istek's own sales have been taken into account in the calculation of the estimated value. However, that does not mean, without limitation, that the purchases actually increase to the extent determined by the calculation of the imputed estimated value. Therefore, the estimated value of the procurement reflects the extent of the procurement at its highest, calculated as required by the Procurement Act, without the contracting entity's obligation to actually procure the services or goods of the selected supplier with an equivalent amount.
