Description

Am Standort der zentralen Biogasaufbereitungsanlage in Bitburg soll eine Power-to-Gas Anlage aufgebaut werden. Der mittels Elektrolyse generierte Wasserstoff wird in einem Wasserstofftank gespeichert. Zur weiteren Verwertung ist primär eine Anlage zur Methanisierung des Wasserstoffs geplant. Als CO2-Quelle dient hierbei der CO2-Anteil des vor Ort verfügbaren Rohbiogases. Das Produktgas der Methanisierung wird dem bestehenden Biogasspeicher zugeführt und über die bereits vorhandene Einspeiseanlage ins Erdgasnetz gespeist.
