The client conducts a non-binding market survey in accordance with § 197 BVergG. The purpose of the market survey is solely to determine whether companies with delivery date 2nd quarter 2026 can offer ready-to-delivery system components for self-propelled freight wagons. Exploring the market is expressly not intended to procure system components in the context of a procurement procedure. Companies that can offer system components for self-propelled freight wagons with delivery date 2nd quarter 2026 are invited to submit an expression of interest by e-mail to robert.ziegler@pv.oebb.at and present their product by 04.07.2025. The RCA intends to convert two existing freight wagons of the Habbins 2743 type with Y25 bogies into self-propelled freight wagons and to commission the delivery of the system components required for this to an external supplier in order to enable test operation in a research and development project in 2026. In preparation for this award, the relevant market research will be carried out.
