Description

The contract for civil engineering works (hereinafter ‘the MRU’) is part of a larger project to implement the Topinpuisto sorting station, which will become part of the Topinpuisto circular economy centre. The package includes reception points for different types of waste, social facilities for building personnel, transport connections, water supply and energy network and storm water system. All functions form a park area, where circular economy solutions are presented in addition to customer service. A significant part of the project will be the promotion of circular economy and low-carbon solutions. The SDGs will play an important role, as well as procurement selection criteria (quality score) and procurement requirements (commercial terms and conditions and technical requirements). The MRU will be implemented as a turnkey contract, in which the main contractor to be selected will also be responsible for drawing up the plans on the basis of the project plan drawn up by the client and other supporting contract documents. The MRU will include, among other things, the following work phases: - pre-preparation and clearing of the construction site - foundation reinforcements of the areas (including pillar stabilization, including recipes for the binder used and other technical design) - stormwater management during work - regional and fairway construction entities - green and landscape construction entities - construction site roads and areas during work of the project entity, including maintenance responsibilities. At the same time as MRU, part of the project will involve the implementation of a CRT contract (hereinafter referred to as the RAK) for the construction of the buildings as a second entity. MRU will operate in the RAK area as a subordinated subcontractor. The indicative schedule for MRU is: - publication of the contract notice and the invitation to tender 10/2025 - procurement decision 11/2025 - RAK start-up conditions (construction site and its construction sites prepared) 06/2026 - commissioning of the sorting station 05/2028 The customer reserves the right to change the schedule.
