Germany-Bergen: Urban planning services
The tender is for the provision of a fiduciary refurbishment institution. The fiduciary rehabilitation body’s tasks are to accompany and coordinate the urban development process in the Bergen urban area for the following formally defined urban conversion areas: ‘Danziger Str./Mozartstr.’, ‘Fliederstr.’, Berliner Str. and ‘Former NAAFI/Kirchgasse’. They are based on the integrated urban development approach (ISEK). It focuses on the tasks of sustainable urban development across sectors, with specific requirements for moderation, advice and management of participation processes, project development and management, programme implementation and monitoring.
The fiduciary refurbishment body plays a crucial role in the development and initiation of projects for the “reconstruction of the former British residential quarters and the Bergens core” and monitors their implementation. It makes local homeowners aware of the processes relating to acquisition and deconstruction measures and also contributes to the dissemination of information to the public in order to implement the urban development strategy.
