The aim of the Accelerator is to: Identify innovative green tech business ideas in the focus area (environmentally sustainable solutions for local living environments) and provide development acceleration services to teams and businesses developing green technology products or services; Increase the development and implementation of innovative and low-footprint green technologies at local level and support cooperation between local authorities and businesses (including in testing and deploying novel green technologies). A minimum of 20 teams must enter the ex-ante development accelerator programme. By the end of the ex-ante programme, participants will create a comprehensive project design and present their business ideas at a demonstration event. The main programme of the Accelerator must involve at least 5 companies that, as a result of the accelerator, develop ready prototypes that are piloted in local authorities and at least 1 company has mobilised private investment.
