Description

In the coming years, Sund & Bælt plans to expand the Øresund motorway. A DKK 500 million project that will ensure a significant improvement in the connection across the Øresund to Sweden with increased accessibility and less congestion. The first phase (Etape 1) of the construction project is expected to be tendered in 2025. The project will require the handling of construction work in a heavily trafficked area with complex construction logistics and stricter requirements for water drainage. The project also requires strict risk management to ensure an efficient and functional plant process with a continuous focus on optimisation opportunities. Finally, we want environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions in as high a range as possible. These conditions require close cooperation between the client and contractor as well as subcontractors throughout the construction period. A collaboration and project optimisation phase is therefore planned as part of the start-up of Stage 1. The phase aims to 1) ensure a clear common understanding from the start of the project's elements, challenges and success criteria, 2) identify optimisation opportunities early and effectively and 3) strengthen the good and close cooperation for the benefit of all parties. The development of a bonus model is envisaged, where the benefits of optimisations are shared between the developer and the contractor. Organisation of market dialogue: • We invite you to a market dialogue on 22 October 2024 in Copenhagen from 10:00-13:30 at Scandic Copenhagen, Vester Søgade 6, 1601 Copenhagen V. Lunch is included. • The market dialogue will take the form of open, informal dialogue in workshop format, where there is the opportunity to exchange different perspectives and inputs across contractors, builders and consultants. • The purpose of the market dialogue is to get the market's inputs to the right conditions for good cooperation and joint planning in the construction project. Including getting inputs on how a collaboration and project optimization phase can be planned so that it makes sense and value for all parties. • It will be possible to supplement the joint dialogue with 1-1 meetings afterwards, if the needs and interest are assessed. • The market dialogue is open to all interested parties. Sund & Bælt reserves the right to limit the number of participants per company if there is a high interest in participating. • Registration for the market dialogue is via email to Sofia Anker Nielsen at soan@sbf.dk no later than 11 October at 12:00.
